Jerry Vaughn Lewis, 62 was born May 28, 1958 in Amarillo, Texas to George and Hazel Lewis. In July of 2013, he married Vicki Davis in Lubbock. He was a hardworking truck driver and self- employed contractor who enjoyed racing cars, trucking, and bull riding. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
On October 17, 2020, early in the afternoon, Jerry V. Lewis was called from this earth. Those left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Vicki Lewis of Lubbock; his sons, Jay Polvadore and husband Bobby Outlaw of Amarillo, Kerry Polvadore and wife Michelle of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Morgan Lewis and husband Matthew of Lubbock; five grandchildren, Autumn Reyes of Lubbock, Blake, Tatum, Brennan and Talan Polvadore of Wellington, Kansas; sisters, Sue & Leroy Dennis, Diane Bagwell, Kay & Billy Jackson all of Lubbock; three nieces and their spouses; two nephews and their spouses, twelve great nieces and nephews; seven great great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Polly Lewis; one daughter Kayla Lewis (June 2013).
Viewing for Jerry will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday, October 25, 2020 Broadway Funeral Directors. Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be 10:00 am Monday October 26,2020 with Pastor Jerry Steward officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
