David Bryant

September 8, 1977 — May 30, 2020

David Lee Bryant was born September 8, 1977 to Jose Ulises Bryant and Alicia Sanchez in Killeen, Texas. He grew up with three loving brothers with whom he loved playing football in high school and a sister. Straight out of high school he began working in construction and later had two children and eventually a grandson. He loved football, especially his two favorite teams, The Pittsburgh Steelers and Texas Tech and had a love for the outdoors.  He frequently took his grandson fishing and to feed the ducks. He was a father figure to his nephew and will always be remembered for his love of family.

On May 30, 2020 David Lee Bryant was called from this earth.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Marisa Bryant; a son, Benjamen Lee Serna and one grandson, Nathaniel Lee Serna; his mother, Alicia Sanchez; father, Jose Martinez; one sister, Melissa and husband Mark Acebedo; three brothers, Joe Bryant, Michael Bryant, Jose Martinez Jr. and wife Michelle, Angel Martinez; nieces and nephews, Michael John Byant Jr., Ashley Story, Michael Melgoza, Zac Acebedo, Ryan Acebedo, Tori Garza, Dilalable Guerra, Mary Jane Guerra, Alize Bryant, Haidyn Acebedo, Jazelle Martinez, Navaeh Martinez, Rowan Bryant, Liam Bryant and three great nieces and nephews, Miracle Melgoza, Ian Melgoza and Amiyah Garza.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Sanchez

A prayer service will be held 6:00 pm, Friday, June 5, 2020 at Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation from 12p.m. to 8p.m. the same day.  Services for Mr. Bryant will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2020 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Tony Cabrera officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
