Brian Ellis

October 4, 1969 — August 26, 2021

Brian Ellis, 51, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 26th, 2021. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Brian was born October 4th 1969 in Lubbock and was a lifelong resident. Brian was born mechanically inclined and began working as a teenager. He became a very talented machinist for the remainder of his life. Brian's true passion was working on cars. He could tear down, rebuild, and paint any car or truck out there. He also could completely repair or remodel any home. A man of many, many talents, he also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family when the opportunity arose.

Brian was loved and will be missed by all who knew his easygoing spirit and extremely generous heart. He was preceded in death by his sister Melissa Roberson and his nephew Jason Flowers. Survivors include his mother Virginia Ellis of Cleburne, oldest sister Shelley Cannon of Cleburne, brother and sister-in-law Randy and Sharon Ellis of Greenville, SC, younger sister Charla Ellis of Cleburne, loving companion and caregiver Tanji Ivey of Lubbock, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and many lifelong friends.

The family would like to thank UMC Hospice, especially Nurse Stephanie for her loving kindness during his final days. The family would also like to express a special thanks to Bob Mize as well.
