Zella Craig

Zella Mae Craig, 74 passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 in Lubbock. Services for Mrs. Craig will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 9, 2018 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Victor Chavez officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. Family will receive friends starting at 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the funeral home.

Zella was born June 9, 1943 in Lubbock to Burl & Modene Moose.  She married Jackie Dean Criag on August 31, 1958 in New Mexico.  She was a home maker and enjoyed gardening, crafts and playing bingo but she mainly loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Joey Dean & Sue Craig of Austin, Jimmy Don Craig of Midland; one daughter, Janet Lynn Craig and husband Warren Dunson of Lubbock; two sisters, Burlene Hinson, Deborah LaRhea Speigel; nine grandchildren, Albert Basquez, Sandra Muniz, Anthony Salas, Sharen Muniz, Jeremy Muniz, Brandon Ballou, April Craig, Joshua Craig, Joseph Criag; seven great grandchildren, A.J., Audalina, Sarena, Franky, Jace and Aydah. .

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Dean Craig; a daughter, Judy Ann Craig and one brother, Roy Lee Moose.
