Prayer services for Yolanda Vela Garcia 62 of Lubbock will be today at 7 PM at The Broadway Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at The Broadway Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of The Broadway Funeral Directors.
Yolanda went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 9, 2016. She was born on September 29, 1953 in Lubbock to the late Henry and Florinda Rocha. She married Juan Garcia on March 6, 1972 in Lubbock. She was a housekeeper for Sherick Memorial Retirement Home for over 30 years, She was a Christian, she was loving and caring to all. She love to spend time with her family and play BINGO.
Survivors include her husband Juan Garcia of Lubbock, a son Michael Garcia of Lubbock, three daughters Christina Garza of Plano, Lori Garcia and Amy Garcia both of Lubbock, for brothers Richard Rocha, Henry Rocha, Carlos Rocha all of Lubbock, Jerry Rocha of Minnesota, two sisters, Diane Madrid and Lisa Gonzales both of Dallas, 10 grandchildren
