With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Xavier Cezar Narvaiz, who left us far too soon on August 29, 2026, at the age of 36. Leaving a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Born on September 24, 1989, to Eddie and Tina Narvaiz, he leaves behind a legacy defined by warmth, family, and steadfast devotion to all whose lives he touched.
Xavier lived life fiercely. He grew up in Lubbock, Texas, where he graduated from Cooper High School in 2008. He found joy in going to concerts. Embracing the energy and excitement they brought. He was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders, cheering them on with pride. He enjoyed collecting, especially shot glasses and baseball caps.
Above all else, Xavier loved his daughter, Adalyn. His love for her was tender, playful, and wholehearted, seen in the simple and beautiful moments they shared, including letting her put makeup on him just to make her smile. That kind of love will remain one of the most cherished memories of his life.
Those who knew Xavier will remember a man who brought his own spirit into every room, someone who loved deeply and lived with intensity. His memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father Eddie Narvaiz (September 5, 2015); maternal grandparents Rogelio and Ruby Velez; and his paternal grandparents Cruz Sr. and Soledad Narvaiz
He is survived by his mother Tina Narvaiz of Lubbock; his daughter Adalyn Grace Narvaiz of Lubbock; sisters Sandra Saenz (Jesse) and Gabby Narvaiz both of Lubbock; his girlfriend Brittany Vaughn of Lubbock and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
