Sara Mia Hill

October 19, 1992 — March 1, 2024

Lubbok

Sara Mia Hill, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, bid farewell to this world on March 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on October 19, 1992, in Lubbock, Texas, Sara Mia Tello grew up to be a remarkable woman with an undeniable zeal for life. She graduated from Monterey High School in 2011 and later married Christopher Wayne Hill on December 5, 2021. She carved a path for herself as a general manager at Savage Tavern, where she exhibited dedication and leadership that inspired those around her. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sara was known for her love of fashion and unwavering ambition. Described as a woman with a keen eye for style and a heart full of dreams, she brought passion and creativity to everything she did. Outside of her career, Sara found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader, a poetry enthusiast, and had a deep appreciation for music. Her beautiful voice would often fill the air as she indulged in her love for singing. Above all, it was her family that held the biggest place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

One of Sara Mia's proudest achievements was co-hosting the podcast "No BS with Bryer & Sara." Her platform allowed her to engage with others and share meaningful conversations that resonated with many and her content reflected the name as she rarely held back what was needed to be said.

Mourning her departure are her beloved husband, Christopher Wayne Hill; devoted parents, Peter Tello and Dina Hernandez; three sisters, Brianna Morales, Tesla Botello, and Delaney Botello; her nephew, Ace Savedra; niece, Nova Gomez; paternal grandparents, Jesus & Mary Arenas; as well as her feline companions Alex and Baby cat, and canine friends Rumple and Norman.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Manuel & Teresa Hernandez.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Sara Mia Hill's life will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2024, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors. All arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
