Nelda Davis
October 24, 1931 — January 23, 2017
Our beloved mother and Grandmother Nelda Ruth Davis 85, of Lubbock passed into the waiting arms of Jesus on January 23, 2017. Nelda was born on Oct, 24, 1931 in Cotton Center to her late parents William Green and the former Ruth Reeves.
Nelda married the love of her life Thomas Earl Davis November 13, 1948 and their union was blessed for 61 years. Mr. Davis passed Nov. 11, 2009.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 pm at Broadway Funeral Directors.
All are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 2:00 in the chapel at Broadway funeral Directors. Pastor Dave Ladines will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Hicks of Ft. Worth, sons David Davis and Glenn Davis and wife Lynn both of Lubbock. Mrs. Davis leaves her legacy to 7 grandchildren, 13, great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
