Moises Gutierrez, a vibrant soul known for lighting up every room he entered, passed away on April 4, 2026, in his hometown of Lubbock, TX. Born on January 21, 1974, to Amador & Alma Gutierrez, Moises’ journey was marked by a radiant energy and a humble spirit that touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.

A gifted entertainer, Moises shared his talents across numerous clubs, captivating audiences with his charismatic presence. Beyond the spotlight, he channeled his creativity into cosmetic and costume design, bringing a unique flair to every project he embraced. His love for the arts was further evident in his passions for dancing, singing, and lively outings to bingo, activities that brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him.

Moises was cherished for his openness and blunt honesty, qualities that endeared him to family and friends alike. He was a someone who lived fully and loved deeply, especially treasuring moments spent with those closest to him. His encouragement and boundless energy inspired many, cementing his legacy as a truly outgoing and loving individual.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Alma Gutierrez; his three brothers Michael (with wife Lisa), Zeke (with wife Nicole), and David (with wife Sandra), all residents of Lubbock; alongside a loving extended family of nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory with affection. Moises was preceded in death by his father, Amador Gutierrez Jr., whose legacy lives on through him.

Services for Moises will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 16, 2026, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors.  A rosary will be held 7:00 pm. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 12:00 pm. All services will under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.   

Moises Gutierrez’s life was a testament to the power of kindness, creativity, and authenticity. Though he has departed from this world, the echo of his laughter, the warmth of his heart, and the spark of his soul will remain forever etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
