Michael John Bryant Jr., born on August 22, 2007, in Lubbock, Texas, was a vibrant spirit whose light flickered far too briefly. Tragically, Michael passed away on January 28, 2026, leaving a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
A proud graduate of Coronado High School, Michael completed his education in 2025, marking a significant milestone in a life that promised so much. His ambition led him into the workforce as a sales producer for Farmers Insurance, where he brought his unique personality and passion for life into his work every day.
Michael had a joyful zest for life, characterized by his love for music and the freedom he felt while driving. He often took to the road, finding solace and a sense of escape in the simple act of driving. His warmth and infectious happiness were a testament to his beautiful spirit. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved son, Malek Aguilar, who resides in Lubbock, and found immense joy in the company of his family.
Loving his Dallas Cowboys and being an avid collector of Jordan shoes were among the many reflections of Michael's vibrant personality. He brought a distinctive charm to conversations and gatherings, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.
Michael is survived by his loving family: his son, Malek Aguilar; his mother, Alicia Sanchez, of Lubbock; five devoted brothers, Jaden Montelongo, Javier Flores, Jeremiah Licon, Chino Martinez, and Baby J Ovalle; three adoring sisters, Alize Bryant, Anaceli Perez, Lexi Martinez and Mia Martinez; as well as the mother of his child, Maddison Aguilar. Together they form a tight-knit family that will carry on his memory and spirit.
He is preceded in death by his father, Michael John Bryant, and his uncle David Bryant, both of whom he will always hold closely in his heart.
Michael's life, though tragically cut short, serves as a reminder to cherish each moment and embrace the freedom of living fully. He will always be remembered for his joyful spirit, infectious laughter, and profound love for his family. His memory will forever echo in the lives of those he touched.
