Mary Torres

Prayer services for Mary L. Torres 78 of Lubbock will be today at 7 PM at Broadway Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral services will on Friday at 10:30 AM in The Chapel at Broadway Funeral Directors  with Rev. Mario Davila officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
Mary was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She was born on June 21, 1936 in Bexar County, Texas to the late Juan and Elvina Torres. She married Juan De Dios Rios in 1950 in Cisco, Texas, he preceded her in death on August 21, 1999. She had worked for the Lubbock State School, and also as a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by a son David Rios on January 8, 2006
Survivors include four sons John Rios, Gilbert Rios, and Roy Rios all of Lubbock Victor Rios of North Richland Hills, three daughters JoAnn Rios, Virginia Rios DeLeon and Sally Ann Cantu all of Lubbock, a brother John Torres of Cisco, a sister Rosa Garces of Eastland, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
