Mary Boyd

Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Boyd, 86 of Lubbock will be Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 2:00 p.m., in The City of Lubbock Cemetery with Rev. Alan Ehlo officiating. Under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Boyd passed away December 9, 2017 in Lubbock. She was born November 13, 1931, in Sweetwater, TX to Joda and Elaine Reid. In April of 1948, Mary married her loving spouse J.W. Boyd in Lubbock. She worked many years as a line worker for Grinnell Fire Protection. Her family always came first.

She is preceded in death by her husband J.W. Boyd(1994); son David Lee Boyd(1957); daughter Nancy Elizabeth Boyd(1970).

She is survived by her sons Jackie Walter Boyd of Austin and Anthony Boyd of Lubbock; a daughter C.B. Taylor of Austin; Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
