Manuel L Quintero Jr.

Manuel L. Quintero, 48, was born August 22, 1973, in Slaton to Manuel & Eloisa Quintero.  He worked as a farmer for most of his life and enjoyed shooting his guns, and bows, listening to rock music and more than anything, spending time with his family.

On the morning of August 2, 2022, Manuel L. Quintero Jr. was called from this earth. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Manuel Quintero Sr., Eloisa L Quintero both of Tahoka; one brother, Jose Alfredo Quintero of Lubbock; one sister, Veronica Mata of Ralls; two nieces, three nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral mass for Mr. Quintero will be held, 2:00 pm Saturday, August 6, 2022, at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father John Rathinam officiating. Viewing and visitation will begin 10:00 am Friday, August 5, 2022, at Calvillo Funeral Chapel located in Tahoka with a rosary starting at 6:00 pm. All arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
