Jan Godwin

Jan Godwin, 80 passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Unviersity Medical Center.  Graveside services for Mrs. Godwin will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at The Hart Cemetery in Hart, TX. Burial will follow at the Hart Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. Open visitation will start 11:00 am Tuesday till 5:00pm at Broadway Funeral Directors.
Jan was born February 21, 1937 in Hammond, OK to  Kenneth & Christine Lambert.  She married Eugene (Jim) Godwin on February 20, 1998 in Clovis.  She owned and operated A-24 Hour Moving Service for many years before retiring and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son, Kyle Lambert Cooper of NM; two daughters, Janis Cooper of Lubbock, Sidney Marie Littlefield of Lubbock; one sister, Marlene Bennett of Hart; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and one son,Bradley Scott Cooper.
