Hilda Martinez

Hilda Gloria Martinez, 77, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Lubbock.  Services for Mrs. Martinez will be 10:00 Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating.  Burial will follow in Nevels Cemetery in Tahoka under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.  A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2020 at Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation beginning at 5:00 pm.

Hilda was born April 16, 1942 in Mexico to Marcos Guajardo.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, cooking, gardening and dancing and watching Hawaii Five-O.  She loved her flowers but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Martin Martinez and wife Pauline of Andrews; one daughter, Brenda Dotson & Michael Tipton; three grandchildren; one great grandchild.
