Guadalupe Rodriguez

Guadalupe Rodriguez, 71, was born in Slaton to Amalio & Emilia Rodriguez.   He enjoyed cooking, watching boxing and really loved watching football, especially when the Dallas Cowboys were playing. More than all, Guadalupe loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Guadalupe Rodriguez was called home to his eternal rest.  Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Richard Rodriguez of Leander, Michael Rodriguez of Lubbock; one daughter, Christina Rodriguez of Lubbock; one brother, Pelon Adame of Lubbock; two sisters, Cha Cha Garcia of Michigan, Mary Rodriguez of Lubbock; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Rodriguez will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Deacon Manuel Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in The City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 3:00 pm.
