Felicia "Fish" Victoria Hernandez

January 6, 1989 — April 5, 2024

Lubbock

Felicia "Fish" Victoria Hernandez, born January 6, 1989, in Lubbock, Texas, left this world on April 5, 2024, surrounded by love in the same city where she took her first breath. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Felicia graduated from Slaton High School in 2007 and had a vibrant personality that lit up every room she entered. Described as the life of the party, she had a special gift for bringing joy to those around her. Her love for singing, dancing, music, lipstick, and earrings reflected her colorful and lively spirit. She cherished moments spent with her family and created countless memories with them. Her children held a special place in her heart, and she was known for being a devoted and loving mother to them all.

In her journey beyond this life, Felicia is reunited with her maternal grandfather, Jesse Lopez, and paternal grandmother, Celia Hernandez. While we mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the company of loved ones who went before her.

Felicia leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her mother Jeanette and step-father Joel Velasquez, father Louis Hernandez Jr. and step-mother Melinda Nava of Slaton; three beloved children: Nathan Hightower, Shawn Williams, and Ily'ana Hernandez; three brothers: Matthew & Leslie Hernandez of Slaton, Anthony & Alanna Velasquez of Lubbock, Johann Tillery of Amarillo; three sisters: Ashley Hernandez of Slaton, Sonia Velasquez of Lubbock, Lillian Newell of Slaton; maternal grandmother Maria Lopez; paternal grandfather Louis Hernandez Sr.; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
