Eva L Gonzales, a beloved seamstress known for her intricate costumes, particularly those for "Nuestra Herencia Dance Group," which showcased vibrant folklorico dancing, passed away on July 30, 2023. Born on September 4, 1938, in Karnes City, Eva was a remarkable woman whose impact reached far and wide.

In addition to her sewing skills, Eva had many hobbies that allowed her creativity to flourish. Gardening was one of her passions; she nurtured blossoming flowers that mirrored the beauty she cultivated within herself. Additionally, she found joy in cooking delicious meals for her family, infusing each dish with a sprinkle of love. Above all else, spending time with family brought immense happiness to Eva's life. Her  true essence shone through the love and care she showed to those around her. She possessed an unwavering kindness that touched the lives of many. Eva opened her home to anyone in need, offering shelter and comfort without hesitation. Her warm heart and unconditional love created a haven for all who sought solace beneath her roof.

Eva L Gonzales leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband Victor A Gonzales; they were blessed with a bond that stood the test of time and together they faced life's joys and challenges hand in hand, their unwavering commitment serving as an inspiration to all.
Together, they raised three children; Debbie Rodriguez, Victor L Gonzales, and Angelica R. Gonzales who will forever carry their mother's love in their hearts. She also leaves behind two siblings, Estella Lopez and Paul Lopez. Her treasured memories will live on through the precious footsteps of her grandchildren who were blessed to have experienced the unconditional love of their grandmother, while her great-granddaughter, will grow up surrounded by tales of her remarkable legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Carlos Lopez, Florencio Lopez, and Gregorio Lopez. Their spirits now reunite in eternal peace.

Services for Mrs. Gonzales will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 5, 2023 at San Ramon Catholic Church with Father Tim Schwertner officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.  A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, August 4, 2023 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 8:00 am. 

Eva L Gonzales was a remarkable woman whose life radiated love and kindness. Her memory will forever dwell within our hearts as a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she made an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched with her gentleness and unwavering compassion.
