Elizabeth Eve Solorzano-Metcalf, of Tahoka went to be with the Lord on the afternoon of Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the age of 47. She was born June 19, 1979, in Slaton, Texas, to Raul “Roy” and Diana (Calvillo) Solorzano.

She found joy in many simple and meaningful pleasures. Elizabeth loved shopping for her grandchildren and had a creative spirit that showed in her love of crafts and painting. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading Stephen King books, and watching true crime stories on YouTube. She also loved traveling, was very explorative, and lived with an appreciation for adventure and discovery. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, and that love was a defining part of her life.

Those who knew Elizabeth will remember her very calm nature and the steady kindness she brought into the lives of others. Her gentle presence, caring heart, and love for family will be cherished always.

Elizabeth’s life was marked by compassion, creativity, and love. She leaves behind a memory that will continue to live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
