David Waters

David Lee Waters, 56 passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at University Medical Center.  Services for Mr. Waters will be 10:00 am Monday, June 26, 2017 at Faith Temple with Pastor Ricky Oliphint officiating.  Burial will folllow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 4 to 5 pm at Broadway Funeral Directors.

David was born October 14, 1961 in Chickasha, OK to Elvin & Marie Waters.  A jack of all trades, David worked many jobs with one of his last being with his son-in-law Brandon Trevino doing lawn care.  He enjoyed fishing, training horses, riding motorcycles and country dancing. Being the jokester he was, he enjoyed making people laugh but he mainly loved being around his family and friends.

He is survived by his four beautiful daughters, Carrie Waters of Dallas, Danielle Waters, Natasha Trevino, Desiree Gonzalez all of Lubbock; one sister, Carolyn Oliphint and husband Ricky of Lubbock; nine grandchildren.
