Corinne Allen

Corinne Claire Allen, 91, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Lubbock.  Memorial services for Mrs. Allen will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Westminster Presbyterian Church chapel with Assistant Pastor Matt Young & Chaplain Robert Wells officiating.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.

Corinne was born August 9, 1926 in Chicago to Charles Ward & Mildred Brice.  She married Floyd Allen on July 23, 1971 in Hockley County.  She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Master Gardeners, Lubbock Abortorium, OLLI, and the TTU Museum.

She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband and son in law Bill.  She also loved studying history and going to the movies as she went to a new movie every week with her daughter.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie Joye (husband Bill Freeman), Noel Brice Baker (Butch), and Beverly (husband Boyd Ramsey); one brother, Charlie (wife Judy Brice); six grandchildren; six great grandchildren .

She is preceded in death by husband, Floyd P. Allen; a daughter, Barbara Jeanne Baker; and father of her children, Marvin H. Baker.
