Christopher Anthony Arreguin, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 8, 2023, in his hometown of Lubbock. The loss of Christopher has left a void in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was born on August 22, 1997, in Lubbock, the place that witnessed his remarkable journey through life.
From an early age, Christopher's passion for cooking ignited a flame within him. He dedicated himself to his craft and became a skilled cook at Fuzzy Tacos. Christopher's dedication to his career showed not only his talent but also his strong work ethic. In addition to being a good cook, Christopher was an avid lover of the arts. His creative spirit thrived through drawing and writing. He poured his soul into each stroke of the pencil and every word he penned. Beyond these, Christopher also explored metal and wood artwork. His innovation knew no bounds as he embarked on creating intricate pieces including jewelry that left everyone marveling at his talent. Christopher will forever be remembered as a caring individual who always put others before himself. His selflessness knew no bounds as he consistently showed kindness by checking in on those around him and extending help whenever needed.
Despite being taken from us much too soon, Christopher's legacy will continue to live on through the memories we shared with him and in the hearts of those who loved him most including, his father, Christopher Arreguin Sr.; his mother, Isabel Villarreal; six brothers, Adrian Garcia, Julian Arreguin, Jonah Arreguin, Adan Arreguin, Jr. Vargas, Jonathan Gonzalez; three sisters: Angela Garcia, Maricela Arreguin, and Julissa Vargas and his stepmom, Jessica Rivas Gonzales.
Services for Christopher will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 17, 2023, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Rev. Antonio Vega officiating. A prayer service will be held starting at 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in the Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 4:00 pm. All arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
In this time of immense grief and loss, let us find solace in cherishing the memories we shared with Christopher Anthony Arreguin. His smile brightened our days, his kindness touched our hearts, and his creativity inspired us all. May his gentle soul find eternal peace as we continue to carry his love within us.
