Barbara Ann Howell

Barbara Ann Howell, 79, was born February 8, 1943, in Floydada to William & Viola Kelley.  She graduated from New Deal High School and worked as a guard for TDCJ in Amarillo before working at the Cingular Wireless warehouse as a service manager for many years. She enjoyed sewing, rescuing many different animals, and was known for making the best peanut brittle around. Although she loved helping others, her true passion was taking care of her boys whom she loved and cherished greatly.

On the morning of September 3, 2022, Barbara Ann Howell was called from this earth.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kelly Howell of Lubbock, Toby Howell & wife Emma of Lavon, Barry Howell & wife Gail of Allen, Kasey Howell & wife Shana of Lavon; her daughter-in-law, Paula Howell of McKinney; one sister, Edith Emory of Post; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, Tony Howell.

Services for Ms. Howell will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2022, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in The City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
