Anita Ann Lopez

Anita Ann Lopez, beloved mother, friend, and devoted family member, passed away on August 7, 2026, shortly after celebrating her 42nd birthday. She was born on August 1, 1984, to Daniel and Virginia Lopez in Lubbock. Anita brought light and laughter to every life she touched, and her memory continues to shine in the hearts of those who loved her most.

For seventeen years, Anita dedicated herself to her work in the warehouse at Lisco Inc., where she built not only a career, but lasting relationships with colleagues who became friends. Her strong work ethic and steadfast spirit were apparent to all who worked alongside her.

Outside of work, Anita's passions were as bright as her spirit. She was a true football enthusiast, cheering loudly for her beloved Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Autumn weekends were filled with the excitement of games, surrounded by those she loved, reveling in the energy and camaraderie that made each season special.

Anita was a woman known for her wholehearted love and unwavering devotion—especially to her family and, above all, her daughters. Throughout her life, she cultivated deep and genuine connections, never missing an opportunity to share her warmth, laughter, and unforgettable smile. Her joy in life was found in the everyday moments: gathering with friends, sharing stories and laughter, and cherishing the simple pleasures of good company and good times.

Anita Ann Lopez will be remembered for her boundless love, vivacious spirit, and the deep connections she fostered throughout her life. Though her time with us was far too brief, her legacy of affection, loyalty, and joy will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Anita Lopez; uncles Rudy Lopez, John Lopez and Tony Lopez.

She is survived by her three daughters Sara Castro, Mia Perez and Mya Perez all of Lubbock; a son Zay Perez of Lubbock; her parents Daniel and Virginia Lopez of Lubbock; a brother Danny Lopez of South Carolina; a sister Cindy Lopez of Harro and three grandchildren Kamilla Molina, Kalaya Molina and Kaislyn Molina all of Lubbock.

Viewing and visitation for Ms. Anita Ann Lopez will be held 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2026, at The Chapel in Broadway Funeral Directors with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. the same evening. Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, at San Ramon Catholic Church, with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
