A rosary for Mr. Alfred Regalado, 57 of Lubbock, will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2025, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Joe Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
On the morning of Thursday, August 28, 2025, Alfred went to be with the Lord. He was born on June 19, 1968, to Ralph and Elisa Regalado in Abernathy, Texas. Later in life on June 18, 1994, he went on to marry Janie Alvarado in Lubbock cherishing thirty-one years of a loving marriage. Alfred was a beacon of joy and laughter for everyone who knew him, known for his happy spirit and knack for making those around him chuckle with his jokes.
Alfred dedicated his professional life to being a valued laundry attendant, where he not only fulfilled his duties with care but also forged connections that brought warmth to the workplace.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Alfred was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Game days were often filled with spirited discussions and excited cheers as he celebrated his teams. Music held a special place in Alfred's heart; he loved to dance, filling the rooms with his infectious energy. His laughter echoed through gatherings, and the memories of him swaying to the rhythm will be cherished forever.
However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was a wonderful brother, supportive and loving, always ready to share a friendly tease or a heartfelt conversation with his siblings. He took immense pride in being a father who nurtured his children’s dreams and admirations. Alfred's heart swelled with pride as he embraced his role as a grandfather, doting on his seven grandchildren with affection and delight.
Alfred Regalado leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. His love for family and friends will continue to inspire those who carry his memory forward.
He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Regalado and a brother Sammy Regalado
Survivors include his loving wife Janie Regalado; a son Addisson Regalado; a daughter Savanah Regalado; his mother Elisa (Regalado) Valadez and her husband Roberto Valadez; brothers Roy Regaldo, Joe Regalado and Steve Regalado Sr.; a sister Sally Regalado and seven grandchildren all of Lubbock.
